Qasr el-Zayyan

Small Roman-period temple south of Kharga, best visited with Qasr el-Ghueita.

Qasr el-Zayyan is a smaller Roman-period temple south of Kharga, dedicated to Amun of Hibis. It is not as complete as Hibis, but it helps show how many cult and military sites once lined the oasis.

Visit it as part of a southern loop rather than as a stand-alone target. The cumulative story of Kharga is stronger than any one minor ruin.
