A second waterfall about 10 kilometres west of Kintampo on the Pumpum River, less developed than the main Kintampo Falls and a good deal quieter. The river spreads out across a wide ledge of dark rock before dropping into a basin shaded by tall trees. There is no formal infrastructure — just a footpath down through farmland — so you usually have the place to yourself.
A short scramble brings you to swimming pools above and below the main fall. Best in the wet season (June through October) when the river is in full flow; reduced to a trickle by the end of the dry season in March.
