Lifupa Lodge sits inside Kasungu National Park, overlooking the Lifupa Dam — a small reservoir built to attract game. From the deck you can watch elephant, buffalo, and antelope come down to drink. The lodge has timber chalets, a campsite for self-driving travellers, and a kitchen serving simple Malawian and Western food.
This is the place to base for activities in the park: morning and afternoon game drives, guided walks with rangers, and birdwatching trips. Book well ahead in peak season.
