A long-standing favourite among expats and visiting fishing crews, named after the white grouper that is Nouadhibou's signature fish. The mérou comes grilled, fried, or in a tomato-and-pepper stew; the prawns are also very good.
Plain dining room, prices midrange by Mauritanian standards. Friday nights are busy with the resident foreign community.
