The main public beach in the village itself — a short crescent of white sand at the western corner of the bay, between the village and the headland. The water is calm and shallow, well protected by the reef offshore, which makes it the easiest place in the area to swim with small children.
There is no infrastructure beyond a few shade trees, but the village restaurants are a five-minute walk away. The beach is busiest at weekends when local families arrive with picnics; weekday afternoons are quiet.
