Silaka Nature Reserve protects about 400 hectares of coastal forest, grassland, stream valleys, and rocky shoreline just south of Port St Johns. It is small enough for a half-day visit but varied enough to feel like a proper Wild Coast sample.
Walk the trails, look for birds in the forest, and give yourself time for the beaches and tidal pools. The reserve runs from near Second Beach toward Sugarloaf Rock, so it pairs naturally with a beach morning or late-afternoon walk.
