Magwa Falls is not in Port St Johns itself, but it is one of the strongest day trips from town if you have time and the right vehicle. The falls drop into a deep green gorge near Lusikisiki, in tea-estate and rural Wild Coast country.
The road can be slow, rough, and confusing, especially after rain. Ask locally before setting out, leave early, and do not treat this as a casual detour at the end of the day.
