Shah Porir Dwip

Southern tip settlement of salt fields, fishing boats, and Naf River views toward Myanmar.

Shah Porir Dwip sits at the southern end of the Teknaf peninsula, where the Naf River opens toward the Bay of Bengal. It was once an island and still feels like a far-edge place: salt fields, fishing settlements, long skies, and views across the river toward Myanmar.

The jetty is the main stop. From there you can watch boats, border traffic, and the Arakan hills across the water. It is not a groomed attraction, but it gives Teknaf its strongest sense of place.
