Menara Cendera Kenangan is a small but useful landmark in Kuala Belait, standing near the river and giving the town a clear civic marker. Kuala Belait is not heavy with conventional sights, so monuments like this help orient a walk through the centre and along the waterfront.
Do not expect a major attraction. The tower is best treated as part of a short town circuit with the river, market area, and Belait District Museum. It is worthwhile because it anchors the oil-town story in a place where much of the interest is spread out and understated.
