Fengxue Temple is one of the older Buddhist temple sites in Henan, traditionally traced back to the Eastern Han period. Its relatively well-preserved halls also made it a filming location for scenes associated with the movie "Shaolin Temple", which gives it interest beyond a routine temple visit.
