Por Ling Weng Temple is a small folk temple dedicated to Bolingweng, a local patron deity associated with Yuzhou. It is not a grand monument, but the old carvings and quiet setting give a useful glimpse of local religious life away from the better-known kiln and ancient-town sights.
It is most interesting if you are already exploring the countryside around Yuzhou or have a specific interest in folk temples. During temple fairs the site becomes much livelier, with local worshippers gathering for ceremonies and offerings.
