A reconstructed Qing-dynasty pedestrian street running alongside the Wuhou Shrine, lined with red lanterns, wooden shopfronts and stalls selling Sichuan snacks — spicy rabbit heads, three cannon rice balls, chuan chuan skewers. It is unashamedly touristy and best visited in the evening when the lanterns come on and the crowds spill into the lanes for street food. Combine with a daytime visit to Wuhou next door.
