Shahe Pagoda

Shahe Pagoda is a Ming-dynasty tower on the hillside south of Lishui station. It is not a heavily managed sight, and that roughness is part of the appeal: a short climb, a small temple area, and a wide view of the city and surrounding mountains.

Late afternoon is the best time to go, when the light falls across the valley. The approach is easier by bike, scooter, or taxi than by bus.
