Sahar ki Masjid

Sahar ki Masjid probably served the royal enclosure, and it has a more restrained, courtly mood than some of the other mosques. The building is compact but beautifully proportioned, with a clear sense of ceremony.

Because it sits close to the old palace area, it helps you imagine Champaner as a functioning capital rather than a scatter of isolated monuments.
