Hawa Mahal is a small lakeside pavilion near Modhera's Sun Temple complex. The sandstone structure stands on a high plinth and appears to reuse parts of an older Solanki-period building, with carved pillars, decorated capitals, and jali windows in the rear wall.
It is not the main reason to come to Modhera, but it is a worthwhile extra stop while visiting the Sun Temple, Surya Kund, and nearby stepwells.
