Nehru Gate is a restored city gate in Morbi, originally inaugurated in 1925 as Lloyd Gate and later renamed after independence. Its Indo-Saracenic details fit the princely-state architecture that gives central Morbi much of its character.
The gate was damaged in the 2001 earthquake and restored a few years later. It is an easy stop while walking between Morbi's older civic buildings and palace sites.
