Jhatingri is a high forested spot on Ghogar Dhar, about 12 km from Joginder Nagar and roughly 2,200 metres above sea level. The road up from the Mandi-Pathankot highway reaches deodar and blue pine woods with wide views down into the valleys below.
It is a simple mountain viewpoint rather than a built attraction. Go for the cooler air, forest walks, and the sense of being above the busy valley floor.
