Madhur Temple, formally Sri Madanantheshwara Siddhivinayaka Temple, sits about eight kilometres east of Kasaragod. Its rounded form and riverside setting give it a different character from the coastal forts.
It is an active temple first, a sight second. Dress and behave accordingly, and check current visitor rules before assuming every part is open.
