Malik Dinar Mosque is one of the places where Kasaragod's coastal history comes into focus. The mosque and dargah at Thalangara are associated with Malik Dinar and the early spread of Islam along the Malabar coast.
The complex has been rebuilt and expanded, so do not come expecting an untouched ancient structure. Come for the living pilgrimage site and the reminder that this coast has long looked west across the Arabian Sea.
