Bhavishya Kedar Temple is a small Joshimath shrine tied to a local belief that Kedarnath will one day disappear and reappear here. The temple itself is modest, with a small shivling, but it fits well with Auli and Joshimath's cluster of pilgrimage stops below the high mountain routes.
