Chogha Hill is the simple outdoor counterweight to Borujerd's old mosques. The walk up is short, and from the top you can see how the city sits in the Silakhor plain, with the Zagros foothills closing the view to the west.
Late afternoon is the best time to come. The light softens the concrete edges of the modern city, and the mountains finally become the main event.
