Ichijodani Asakura Family Museum displays objects excavated from the Asakura ruins and explains how the valley town worked before its destruction. It is the practical companion to the ruins rather than a replacement for them.
Visit the museum before or after walking the site, especially if you are not already familiar with the Sengoku period.
