Tsugaike Nature Park sits high above the valley, reached by gondola and ropeway from Tsugaike Kogen. Its boardwalks cross alpine wetlands, with flowers in summer, autumn colour later in the season, and wide views toward the Northern Japan Alps.
It is one of Hakuba's best non-ski days because it gives you mountain scenery without needing a full mountaineering plan.
