Bentenjima Kaihin Park is a waterside park on Lake Hamana, known for its beach, boardwalk, and view of a red torii standing out in the bay. It is one of Hamamatsu's easier coastal stops, especially if you want open water without leaving the city area for long.
The late June fireworks display draws large crowds and food stalls. At quieter times, the park is best for a short stroll, photographs, and a break from the inland city centre.
