Hamamatsu JASDF Air Park is the Japan Air Self-Defense Force museum beside Hamamatsu Air Base. It displays aircraft, engines, uniforms, and other aviation material, with enough full-size hardware to make it more than a small local museum.
The flight simulator and theatre make it a good choice for families, aviation fans, or anyone with a spare half-day outside the city centre. Most interpretation is in Japanese, but the aircraft collection is easy to enjoy without much translation.
