Kosaku is a practical first stop for hoto, the heavy miso-based noodle stew that Yamanashi does best. The Kofu station branch is easy to reach and gives you the local dish without needing to chase a countryside farmhouse.
Order hoto if you are only eating here once. It is filling, warming, and more memorable than another generic station meal.
