Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Art is Kofu's main art stop, known above all for works by Jean-Francois Millet and other European painters. The museum sits west of the centre in an open park, so it feels calmer than the traffic-heavy streets around the station.
It is worth adding if you have already come for Takeda history or Shosenkyo and want a quieter indoor hour.
