Irago Nanohana Garden

Seasonal rape blossom garden that turns bright yellow in late winter.

Irago Nanohana Garden is a seasonal stop near the Cape Irago coast, open when the rape blossoms are in flower, usually from January into March. At its best, the fields are a bright yellow foreground to the low hills and sea air of the peninsula.

Outside the bloom season there is little reason to make a special stop. Time it right, though, and it adds a soft, rural counterpoint to the lighthouse and surf.
