Toyama Glass Art Museum is the city's strongest reason to stop. The collection focuses on modern glass art, including work tied to Toyama's own glassmaking culture, but the building is half the pleasure: a layered Kengo Kuma design of stone, glass, aluminium, and warm local timber.
