Hills of Zerubu is a flower garden and lookout area near Biei, with seasonal fields, an observation deck, and views over the rolling farmland that makes this part of Hokkaido so photogenic. It is more managed than wild, but the colours can be lovely in bloom.
There are simple visitor facilities, including a shop and restaurant, and buggies are sometimes available for getting around the grounds. It works best as one stop on a wider Biei scenery drive or cycle.
