Mt. Yotei is the 1,898-m volcanic peak that rises across from Niseko's ski areas. Its near-symmetrical cone has earned it the nickname Ezo Fuji, and it is one of the clearest landmarks in the region.
In winter, the mountain is best appreciated from the resorts and viewpoints around Hirafu. In summer, experienced hikers climb to the crater rim for wide views over southwest Hokkaido.
