Manabe Garden is a large planted landscape south of central Obihiro. It is especially known for conifers and rare tree species, with Japanese, Western, and landscape-garden sections mixed across the grounds.
It is best from spring through autumn, when the colours change and the paths feel worth lingering over. For garden lovers following the Hokkaido Garden Path, this is one of the obvious Tokachi stops.
