Takinoue Park is Yubari's easiest nature stop: a riverside park around Chidorigataki Falls, with paths, bridges, and autumn colour in October. The scenery is small-scale but satisfying, with water, rock, and red leaves doing most of the work.
It is closer to Yubari IC and Shin-Yubari than to the old mining core, so it fits well at the start or end of a driving day.
