The Site of Reversible Destiny is Yoro's great oddity. Artists Shusaku Arakawa and Madeline Gins made it as a landscape of sloping ground, bright pavilions, off-kilter rooms, and paths that push you to pay attention to balance and movement.
It is best approached playfully, but not carelessly. The whole place is meant to make walking feel less automatic, and that is much of its appeal. Wear shoes that can handle ramps and uneven surfaces.
