Sukuji Beach is a long white-sand beach on Ishigaki with showers, toilets, changing rooms, and enough shade at the back of the beach to make a slow visit comfortable.
The water here is notably shallow, so it is better for paddling and relaxed beach time than for serious swimming. On clear days you can see Uganzaki Lighthouse in the distance.
