Manza Beach lies on the west coast of Okinawa near Onna Village, adjacent to Cape Manzamo. It is one of the island's most reliable resort beaches — a broad arc of white sand with calm, clear water protected from the Pacific swell, good reef snorkelling accessible directly from the shoreline, and full facilities including rental gear, lifeguards, and beach-side restaurants during the April to October swimming season.
The beach is fronted by large resort hotels, which means it is never wild or empty, but the water quality is consistently good and the reef just offshore holds more life than most resort beaches. The west-coast orientation makes for excellent sunsets, which the café terraces are designed around. Outside the hotel strips, the Onna coastline north and south of Manza has quieter stretches of beach with basic facilities; renting a car and exploring the coast independently turns up small coves that the package tourists rarely reach.
