Yoron Folk Village is an open-air folk museum preserving old island houses, tools, and household objects. It is small, personal, and more about texture than spectacle: how people cooked, worked, stored things, and lived before the island became a beach destination.
Go if you want Yoron to feel like more than pretty water. The village gives the coral island a human scale and helps explain the mix of Amami, Okinawan, and local traditions.
