Toramaru Puppet Land is a puppet-theatre park inside Toramaru Park, with a museum, workshops, and performances by puppet troupes. It is especially good with children, but adults interested in Japanese performing arts should not dismiss it.
The theatre gives Higashikagawa another local thread beyond old streets and gloves: small-town Shikoku as a keeper of traditional stage culture.
