The lords of Tokushima's private garden, laid out in the early 17th century as a kaiyu-shiki (strolling-style) garden. A central pond is fed by spring water and circled by a path with deliberately staged viewpoints — borrowed scenery from Mount Bizan to the south, a small artificial waterfall at the back, and a teahouse at one corner where you can stop for matcha.
Compact enough to walk in twenty minutes but rewarding to linger. Admission is included with the Castle Museum ticket.
