Naso no Shirataki is a 26-metre waterfall near Kinpo Shrine, east of Kisakata. It is a more vertical, dramatic fall than Mototaki and fits well into a short circuit of Nikaho's inland water sights.
The shrine setting helps. Even when the waterfall is not roaring, the combination of water, trees, and old religious ground feels properly Tohoku.
