Dewa Yushinkan

Traditional-style tea house with views toward the Mogami River and Mount Chokai.

Dewa Yushinkan is a traditional-style tea house beside the Sakata City Museum of Art. It was built in 1994, but the design gives it a calm, old-Japan feel, with green tea served in a setting made for lingering.

The main reason to stop is the view: from the grounds you can look out toward the Mogami River and, in clear weather, Mount Chokai.
