Jhukar Jo Daro is an archaeological mound about nine kilometres west of Larkana, near the Larkana-Mehar road. It is much less famous than Moenjodaro, but it belongs to the same broad landscape of Indus Valley settlement and later prehistoric cultures.
Do not expect a manicured visitor site. The reason to come is the sense of the plains around Larkana as an archaeological field, where ancient settlement mounds still rise from the modern farming country.
