Bhodesar is a compact cluster of monuments near Nagarparkar: a white marble mosque built in 1505 and the remains of Jain temples and tanks nearby. The mosque is small, but its dome and details show the influence of Jain architecture in the region, which makes it far more interesting than its size suggests.
Come here as part of a circuit rather than as a single stop. The pleasure is in seeing how the mosque, temples, water, and hills sit together in the same dry landscape.
