Manchar Lake lies west of Sehwan, spread across the flat country below the Kirthar Mountains. It is often described as Pakistan's largest natural freshwater lake, though its size and health shift with the season and with the complicated water politics of the lower Indus.
Go for the openness, boats, fishing settlements, and birdlife rather than for tidy facilities. It works best with local transport and current advice, especially after floods or in very hot weather.
