Sehwan Fort, also called Kafir Qila, is less a restored fortress than a huge archaeological mound above the town. Local tradition links it to Alexander the Great, while Sindh heritage sources describe it as an ancient pre-Islamic stronghold with massive brickwork and layers of older settlement.
Do not expect neat walls or museum labels. The value is in the height, the scale, and the sense that Sehwan has been fought over and occupied long before the shrine made it famous.
