Raun Raun Theatre is worth knowing about even if you do not manage to catch a show. Performances can be irregular, but the building itself stands out, with a form that looks like several traditional houses joined into one large theatre.
Ask locally about the schedule when you arrive in Goroka. If something is on, it is one of the better chances to see performance rooted in the Highlands rather than a show put on only for visitors.
