Ilagan Sanctuary is a 200-hectare visitor area within Fuyot Springs National Park, in Barangay Santa Victoria east of the city. It is the city's strongest travel anchor: limestone caves, springs, forest paths, a natural pool, and the walk to Pinzal Falls all sit inside the same protected landscape.
Parts of the sanctuary are developed with family attractions, so it is not deep wilderness. Go for the caves, the foothill setting, and the easy break from highway travel through the Cagayan Valley.
