Columns of Rajajil

The Columns of Rajajil are groups of upright sandstone pillars in the desert south of Sakakah. Their exact purpose is uncertain, but the site is often linked to prehistoric ritual or settlement activity and is one of the Al-Jawf region's most unusual archaeological stops.

The appeal is the stark setting and the mystery of the stones rather than extensive ruins, so it is best combined with Sakakah's other historic sites.
