Kongdol Pebble Beach is made of small rounded quartzite stones, many of them pale, grey, red, or purple. The name refers to their bean-like shape, and the pleasure is simple: listen to the water pull the pebbles back and forth, and look closely at the colours underfoot.
It is protected as a natural monument, so do not take stones away. The beach is better for looking, walking, and listening than for lying down with a towel.
