Yu Gwan-sun Memorial Hall

Memorial museum for the teenage independence activist linked to the March 1st Movement.

Yu Gwan-sun is one of Korea's best-known independence martyrs, remembered for helping lead local March 1st Movement protests as a teenager and dying in prison under Japanese rule. Her memorial hall in Byeongcheon tells that story through exhibits, photographs, and patriotic interpretation.

It pairs naturally with the Independence Hall of Korea, but it feels more personal. The surrounding area also puts you close to Byeongcheon Sundae Street, so the visit does not have to be solemn from start to finish.
